In 1925, British explorer Percy Fawcett, together with his son and his son's best friend, headed into the jungles of the Amazon in search of a lost civilization. They were never heard from again. David Grann, a journalist at “The New Yorker” decided, as many others have in the past, to try to learn Fawcett's fate by trekking into the dark depths of the Amazon basin in search of The Lost City of Z.
